Overview

Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo was founded durring the early 13th century in summer of the year 1242, by Mēń̄s Coīs 'Venus Lilith' Mp̪fta̋ch Ya̋mēór Coīńchī. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo is buildings have been located at convienant points along the swamp Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the broad split-log ties streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo's failry decent fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

A look around Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo shows Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The city has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Chyameya Ûsî Chyu̹yo places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
